when boredom and anxiety have successfully taken control over you in every aspect in your life, it is time to take time out...and that means holidays, to restore productivity, to restore your joy, to restore your love for God and people. But before that...there is an unfinished business I have to tackle first. Holidays are never without a price tag. Nothing except for God's grace is priceless in this life (well that's what I learned after living on earth for like 23 years), that is why you have to appreciate it!

the ol' rebonded me! i promise after this i wont alter my hair again for the next 6 months to not waste every cent spent on this. I'm looking forward to see it decreasing in flatness and growing nicer naturally wash after wash. Hope this soft rebonding will really be less flat than normal first generation rebonding. say annyeong to messy fly-aways!

it took me a while before i realized i'm an oral presenter, not really a writer. i have realized that what i have been writing in my blogs until this far has conversational tone. explains my love for real life action and speech, not books. I understand them better I guess, as one of my preferred learning method.

so happy to be back from jakarta, met a bunch of people, my family and a very old friend. to be frank here, my maid was my very first best friend. I'm so happy I can meet her again after about 5 years (that was the NUS university entrance exam days you see...). Missed her so much. i'm happy to exchange thoughts with other people. apparently, some of my family members have been in the catholic charismatic circle, which I think is not out from God's plan at all. I'm actually thankful that they now know more truths because they read the Bible more than before. I'm also very thankful being salt and light in this family. at least now I know I've been walking the right path all these while. I can see very good change in them (I can see a few of them are in the path for repentance, including my beloved Mom) and they also can see the change I have in my life since before I go NUS till now. Went into slightly heated discussions, with topics ranged from family, marriage to riches. Reminded once again of temporarity and values of the kingdom of God. Was encouraged to go search for a rich husband and was disgusted by it and not to mention the lengthy motivational talk on worldly riches. *gasp* Thinking about this made me really thankful for biblical principles on many things practical in life.

Aside from the neverending food and sleep marathon, I think I'm very blessed from this short overdue holiday from everyday routine and mundaneness. On the other hand, so many things have happened in Singapore that include some of my favourite people over there as well. So sorry if I haven't been there for y'all. But I am sure God is always with you, so take good care of yourself and let God do the rest. I am also very thankful to God that now I can see the big picture again of what He has been doing in my life. Before this, to be frank again, life was kind of bleak and hopeless. I guess human fallenness had overtaken me. Been feeling so fragile, small, and out of God's reach for some reason.

Now I want to focus more on my work and not let this opportunity go out of my reach...I shall not dream of running away anymore. Even if life is hard.

back to my small room in buona vista that is about half of my bedroom size in sby...i'm kind of getting used to the shock therapies we always have at you-know-where...the place i'm not allowed to speak so much about...and then, i got allergic to the dust accumulating in my own room! what a nuisance...i got nose block every night, and i will still have it until i clean up my room. on the more pink side, a good friend of mine actually got a job...on his birthday some more...so happy for him! sometimes life arrangements can be so funny ya...yea, thank God for that! Once again still thinking about phd options, marriage, master options, or anything else out of the box. i'm still considering all those...in this survival-of-the-fittest country, God knows what i'm talking about.

and a friend said i have a tv show actress look-alike, it's from shaolin warriors! how weird hehehe =P she's in this video...

i've always been a strong believer that love doesn't mean two always have to stay together all the time, but must be willing to let go too when that decision is crucial for both parties, or even for the goodness of the other only. maybe it's those romance movies, but i trust it this time sometimes there is practical wisdom in the romance movies too...
